"Even as a young man, my impression of colour was that it was the servant of movement, and the handmaiden of line and depth, which makes most of these works have a sculptural feeling. My current practice in sculpture has required a re-think to my approach to painting at this time. Most of these works are in private collections in Ireland, Cyprus, Tunisia, and Canada."
